Our client a Constructions company, is looking to hire permanently a Structural Engineering Technician in Ireland.
Brief Description:
The successful candidate will be a member of a team of engineers and technicians designing commercial, retail, leisure and residential projects in timber frame, structural steel and reinforced concrete.
The position, which offers significant career advancement, is ideal for an engineer who is motivated and committed and will be salaried accordingly.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Responsibility for the preparation of drawings using AutoCAD software
Working alongside DCE IRL engineers
Liaising with other members of the design team
Liaising with contractors / answering contractor queries
Requirements:
Candidates should hold a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or other relevant 3rd Level Qualification, preferably with 5 years post graduate experience.
A good working knowledge of AutoCAD & Microsoft Office is essential.
Applicants must be fluent in English, have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
